Job summary

Mosaic invites applications for an Applied Process Technology Engineer Co-Op/Intern at the FishHawk site in Lithia, FL. The program runs May 10, 2027 to August 20, 2027, with full-time hours (36-40 per week) and in-person work on a 9/80 schedule where applicable.

You will lead innovative projects, perform feasibility studies, and engage with multiple levels of personnel. Housing/relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Mining or Industrial Engineering by Jan/May 2027.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Ability to work in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
• 1-2 years of volunteering or student organization activity preferred.
• Previous internship or coop experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative engineering projects across Mosaic concentrate and mining processes.
• Complete feasibility studies on new technology for mining or processing improvements.
• Engage with operations, engineering, and functional teams to share learnings.
• Direct research activities in lab and full-scale industrial operations.
• Communicate with management, plant operators, engineers, and contractors.
• Participate in department and project-specific meetings.
• Adhere to Mosaic’s mission and key competencies.
