Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical seeks an APRN to join the Mobile Health Program serving Butler County, Missouri. This on-site role travels with the mobile clinic to deliver primary care, chronic disease management, and preventive services to women in the community.

The APRN should have a Master's or DNP, Missouri licensure eligibility, and board certification in Adult Medicine Primary Care (ANCC/AANPCB). EHR experience and a passion for community health are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or DNP APRN credential with board certification in Adult Medicine Primary Care or equivalent.
• Currently licensed or eligible for Missouri APRN licensure.
• Experience in women’s health services preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary care services including physical exams and management of acute and chronic illnesses for women.
• Take medical histories, perform exams, order/interpret diagnostics.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes/hypertension.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR systems.
• Collaborate with nurses and medical assistants to deliver comprehensive care.
• Engage in outreach to raise awareness of mobile clinic services.

General Tasks

• Primary Care Services: Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and provide routine primary care to improve patient health outcomes.
• Patient Assessments: Take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Chronic Disease Management: Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Administrative Duties: Include but not limited to assisting with opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Preventive Care: Administer vaccinations, conduct health screenings, and educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare providers, nurses, and medical assistants to deliver comprehensive care.

Community Outreach: Participate in outreach activities to raise awareness about the mobile clinic’s services and engage with the community.

Actively participating in leadership-level planning for the best growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education:
• Master's or DNP Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with completion of an accredited APRN program, with current Adult Medicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANPCB) Board Certification or equivalent certification.
• Currently licensed or eligible for Missouri APRN licensure
• Experience:
• Clinical experience in women’s health services preferred
• Experience with EHR preferred
• Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

Work Environment

100% Onsite - APRN is expected to travel with the mobile clinic team to nearby mobile health locations. The main brick-and-mortar location is at 110 S. 2nd St., Ellington, MO 63638

Salary & Benefits

• 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service
• Medical insurance - 100% employer contribution, participating plans

• 401K - 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match
• Weekly payday, every Friday
• Quarterly profit sharing, up to 20% of annual wages, and an Open Book Management organization
