Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical is seeking an APRN specializing in Women’s Health to join our mobile clinic program. The role is remote in execution but requires willingness to relocate temporarily and travel with the mobile clinic team to nearby sites.

You will deliver comprehensive women’s health services, conduct patient assessments, provide preventive care and education, and coordinate care with a team to ensure timely follow-up and access for women in the community.

Qualifications

• WHNP board certification required or equivalent.
• Master's or DNP in nursing with APRN scope.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive women’s health services in mobile clinics.
• Conduct patient evaluations including histories and exams; order/interpret tests.
• Deliver preventive care and health education.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and program staff.
• Screen and manage chronic conditions; arrange referrals as needed.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support daily mobile clinic operations and inventory management.
• Engage with community partners for outreach and engagement.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement.

APRN – Women’s Health / Champion of Mobile Clinic Programs

General Tasks

• Women’s Health Services : Provide comprehensive women’s health services within the mobile clinic setting.
• Patient Assessments : Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical histories, physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory results as appropriate.
• Preventive Care and Health Education : Provide preventive health services including vaccinations, health screenings, nutrition counseling, and patient education.
• Care Coordination and Referrals : Coordinate care with other medical and behavioral health professionals to ensure continuity of care and timely follow-up for patients requiring additional support.
• Chronic Condition Screening and Management : Screen for and manage conditions that impact health, such as hypertension, diabetes, anemia, and behavioral health concerns, while coordinating referrals when advanced care is needed.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Mobile Clinic Operations Support : Assist with daily mobile clinic operations including preparing the clinical space, managing supplies and inventory, supporting patient intake and follow-up, verifying insurance when applicable, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, community health workers, and program staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Community Outreach and Engagement : Participate in community outreach activities to increase awareness of women’s health services offered through the mobile clinic, while building relationships with local organizations and community partners.
• Leadership and Program Development : Serve as a clinical champion for the mobile clinic program by contributing to program development, quality improvement efforts, and strategic planning to expand access to women’s health services.

• Education :
  • Master's or DNP Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with completion of an accredited APRN program, with current Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) Board Certification through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) or equivalent certifying body.
  • Currently licensed or eligible for Missouri APRN licensure
• Experience :
  • Clinical experience in women's health services preferred
  • Certified Nurse Midwife preferred
  • Experience with EHR preferred
• Performance : Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

100% Onsite – APRN is expected to travel with the mobile clinic team to nearby mobile health locations.

Salary & Benefits

• 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service

• 401K – 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match
• Weekly payday, every Friday
