Job summary

Palms Medical Group (PMG) in North Florida seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who works independently or with clinicians to deliver family-centered care across the lifespan. As an APRN you’ll provide direct patient care, health promotion, disease prevention, and counseling within your specialty.

You’ll prescribe medications within state and federal laws, develop treatment plans, maintain the EHR, participate in QA/QI activities, and support after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
• Current and valid APRN license in the State of Florida
• Current BLS (basic life support) Certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care
• Develop treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases
• Prescribe medications within legal scope
• Maintain the Electronic Health Record (EHR) per PMG policies
• Participate in QA/QI activities
• Be available for after-hours coverage and extended hours as approved
