Job summary

Molex is seeking an Advanced Quality Planning Manager for the Transportation Solutions Business Unit. You will direct the APQP program for the Americas Design Center and Lincoln, NE plant, delivering quality plans for new development and product changes to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will lead APQP teams, coordinate with design, tooling, and manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement across the program while maintaining rigorous customer alignment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, business or related field.
• 8+ years in an APQP role in design center or manufacturing.
• 4+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC).
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies and leading root-cause actions.
• Knowledge of Product/Process Qualification Plans, DVP&R and environmental testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead AQP Engineers executing APQP at Rochester Hills, MI and Lincoln, NE.
• Represent customer and facilities by developing and executing new/modified product and process projects.
• Coordinate AQP teams to meet aggressive timelines and customer requirements.
• Execute APQP and Launch activities for equipment and tooling builds to produce quality parts.
• Collaborate with Design/Process Engineers, PMs and operators to support sample submission and initial launch of parts.
• Support continuous improvement and standardization of APQP and Product Development processes.
• Maintain project documentation and run status reports; drive action items to meet deadlines.
• Lead training activities during start-up phases and participate in customer meetings and Phase Gate Reviews.
