Job summary

IFAB Corp. is seeking an APQP Engineer to lead Advanced Product Quality Planning for new launches. You will collaborate with Engineering, Tooling, Production, Quality and customers to plan, validate, and launch parts across stamping, laser, tube bending, welding, and coating processes.

You will manage APQP timing, prepare PPAP packages, and drive robust processes from quote to production. A strong background in AIAG tools and GD&T is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in APQP/PPAP within metal fabrication or automotive-related environments.
• Experience with AIAG tools and ISO/IATF quality standards.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities from quote through production launch.
• Prepare PPAP packages and obtain customer approvals.
• Develop control plans, PFMEAs, and FMEA documents.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for risk assessment and mitigations.
• Validate processes with MSA, capability studies, and run-at-rate trials.
• Interface with OEM customers and suppliers during launches.
• Drive continuous improvement and adhere to EHS standards.
