Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of SQL, web development, and analysis experience or equivalent.

• .NET experience with C# and Visual Studio; ASP.NET UI design and OOP concepts.
• Experience building AI agents and familiarity with Azure/OpenAI tooling.

The Applications Developer (SQL / .NET / AI Agent Developer) will design, develop, and optimize Azure SQL databases, maintain and support C#/.NET applications and Azure App Services, and design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate and orchestrate business workflows. The position requires an Arizona resident and is offered as a hybrid/local role with flexible work-from-home options.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex Azure SQL databases including advanced queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning
• Lead database projects and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Maintain and support Microsoft Azure App Services and C# .NET based applications
• Build, deploy, and maintain autonomous, multi-agent AI systems that are stateful, tool-using, and capable of reasoning, planning, executing tasks, and collaborating with systems and humans
• Implement prompt engineering and simple RAG pipelines for AI agents
• Mentor junior developers and produce technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology and follow SDLC practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of SQL, web development, and analysis experience, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated SQL experience (Azure SQL / SQL Server) and advanced query optimization skills
• .NET experience using C# and Visual Studio; experience with ASP.NET UI design and OOP concepts
• Experience building AI agents (must be listed on resume)
• Proficiency with SDLC, Agile, RESTful APIs, Azure DevOps, and Azure App Services
• Familiarity with Microsoft OpenAI framework, Copilot, Claude, and Python scripting
• Strong testing, debugging, data analysis, ETL, and documentation skills
