Job summary

The State of Arizona – AZDES is seeking an Applications Developer specializing in SQL, .NET, and AI Agent Development. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing Azure SQL databases, supporting C#/.NET applications and Azure App Services, troubleshooting database performance, and building and maintaining AI agents.

The developer will mentor junior developers, contribute to scalable data solutions, and utilize modern AI-driven development practices in a hybrid Phoenix environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex Azure SQL databases
• Lead database development and optimization initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues

• Build, deploy, and maintain autonomous and multi-agent AI systems
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, executing tasks, and interacting with systems and users

Position Overview
