Job summary

Iowa Workforce Development is seeking an organized Project Manager for the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship to advance work-based learning and expand high-quality apprenticeship experiences in Iowa.

The role involves coordinating with businesses, schools, and community partners, providing guidance on program structure, and developing plans and data tools to ensure successful implementation of Registered Apprenticeship initiatives.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required; work in program administration/operations a plus.
• Eight years total education and/or experience with credit for education hours.
• Graduate-level education with related experience can substitute for some requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate major RA projects and RA initiatives.
• Develop clear project plans and internal processes.
• Create data tracking tools to support implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with IOA staff, IOA and IWD leadership, and external partners.
• Promote WBL opportunities and strengthen talent pipelines across the state.
