Walker White Mechanical is seeking an Apprenticeship Program Coordinator to lead and grow our registered apprenticeship programs across the mechanical trades. In this role, you'll help launch careers, support apprentices on their journey to certification, and strengthen partnerships that create life-changing opportunities for the next generation of skilled professionals.
Our apprenticeship curriculum is already established across HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, Pipefitting, and Sheet Metal. Your mission is to bring that training to life by recruiting talent, supporting apprentices, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring participants successfully complete their programs.

What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Walker White's apprenticeship programs across multiple skilled trades
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain apprentices throughout their training journey
- Serve as the primary liaison between apprentices, instructors, supervisors, educational partners, and workforce agencies
- Build and maintain partnerships with school districts, technical colleges, workforce development organizations, veterans' programs, and government agencies
- Monitor apprentice progress, provide coaching and support, and celebrate milestones and achievements
- Coordinate with instructors and company leadership to ensure training schedules, compliance requirements, and program objectives are met
- Maintain apprenticeship records, documentation, and reporting requirements
- Represent Walker White Mechanical at career fairs, community events, industry meetings, and recruitment activities
- Identify opportunities to improve apprentice engagement, program outcomes, and operational efficiency
- Advocate for the value of careers in the skilled trades throughout the community
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Passion for teaching, coaching, mentoring, or workforce development
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to present confidently to groups of varying sizes and backgrounds
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of program success
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education, training, workforce development, program administration, human resources, talent development, or related fields
- Experience working with young adults, career changers, or adult learners
- Background in construction, mechanical contracting, manufacturing, skilled trades, or apprenticeship programs
- Familiarity with registered apprenticeship programs, workforce grants, or educational partnerships
