Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks an Apprenticeship Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of the apprenticeship programs, liaising with students, faculty, unions, WTCS and BAS. The role emphasizes compliance, records, and program growth.

The coordinator will monitor schedules and tuition, maintain contracts, and drive recruitment while exploring grants to sustain the programs. 40 hours/week at MATC Oak Creek with occasional travel to partner sites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field and three years experience in post-secondary education apprenticeship programs.
• Bachelor’s degree and more than three years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with registration services to monitor and assist with student schedules and tuition payments.
• Maintain apprentice contracts and progress tracking documents.
• Serve as primary contact for trade unions, external sponsors, WTCS, and MATC faculty/staff.
• Design and implement recruitment strategies and explore grant opportunities for program growth.
• Prepare correspondence, minutes, reports and other confidential documents.
