Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks an Apprenticeship Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of apprenticeship programs, interfacing with students, faculty, trade unions, WTCS and BAS. The role ensures compliant records and supports program growth and partnerships at MATC's Oak Creek Campus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field and three years experience in post-secondary education apprenticeship programs.
• Administrative experience related to apprenticeship programs like Youth Apprenticeship, Certified Pre-apprenticeship or Registered Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with registration services to monitor and assist with student schedules and tuition payments.
• Act as primary contact for trade unions, external sponsors and WTCS to promote apprenticeship programs.
• Ensure adherence to BAS and WTCS requirements and maintain apprentice records, progress tracking, cancellations and graduation records.
• Partner with leadership to design recruitment strategies and explore grant opportunities to support program longevity.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials to support program operations and communications.
