Job summary

Vaughn Industries, a family-owned construction company headquartered in Carey, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Apprenticeship Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the Workforce Development Manager within the Training Department.

The role involves in-person, phone, and email interactions with employees, clients, and applicants, plus coordinating apprenticeship activities, data entry, and presentation setup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license with good record.
• 1-3 years general office clerical experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - outgoing and pleasant personality.
• Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, & attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Workforce Development Manager as required in maintaining and executing apprenticeship programs
• Recruitment for apprenticeship through presentations and other types of events
• Data entry and scanning/filing of all Apprenticeship documents
• Assist with set up of all presentations
• Audit of apprenticeship classes
• Assist instructors with preparation of apprenticeship classes
