Job summary

Center Phase Energy seeks an Apprenticeship Coordinator to design, implement, and continuously improve the DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program across our family of companies. This role serves as the primary liaison between CPE and regulatory bodies, educational partners, and internal business units to develop a skilled, safety-focused workforce in the transmission and distribution sector.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Safety Services, this position works closely with operations

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience administering a DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program.
• Experience in the electric utility, transmission & distribution, or power delivery industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships across organizations.
• Strong organizational skills with compliant recordkeeping for a registered program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; travel regularly required.

Responsibilities

• Administer the DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program across all entities.
• Maintain compliance with DOL standards and state requirements.
• Coordinate audits, site visits, and program reviews; address findings.
• Maintain apprentice records: hours, wage progressions, competency attainment.
• Oversee RTI delivery and OJL plans; coordinate with curriculum providers.
• Collaborate with HR on onboarding, compensation step increases, and benefits.
• Track retention and post-program employment outcomes; report metrics.
