Salary Range for this position is OFM Range 53 ($62,748 - $80-436). The range typically offered to candidates for this position is $69,372 (E)- $74,688 (H).

The Georgetown Campus of South Seattle College is Washington State's largest apprenticeship training institution. Serving over 3,000 apprentices and students earning everything from short-term certificates and industry-recognized credentials to Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees, the Georgetown campus is known as the area's premier workforce education and training center.
With classes on evenings and weekends, and new courses starting throughout the quarter, the campus serves adult learners by meeting their needs and fitting their schedules. Because of the hands-on nature of Georgetown, nearly all classes take place on site, drawing students to specialized workforce training that prepares people for the trades, including construction, manufacturing, and sustainable building science.
Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Apprenticeship, the Apprenticeship Pathways and Curriculum Program Specialist 3 coordinates curriculum documentation, program improvement initiatives, and pathway development efforts supporting South Seattle College's apprenticeship programs at the Georgetown Campus.
This position provides specialized program coordination and technical support to ensure apprenticeship curriculum documentation aligns with Washington State apprenticeship requirements, higher education governance standards, accreditation expectations, and institutional processes. The position supports the completion and maintenance of curriculum records across multiple apprenticeship occupations, coordinates curriculum integration into college systems, and assists with strategic initiatives that expand postsecondary educational pathways for apprentices.
The Program Specialist 3 will support the implementation curriculum documentation completion, embedded general education pathway exploration through the Multi-Occupational Trades (MOT) AAS-T degree, and coordination with internal departments and external higher education partners regarding articulation opportunities.
This position serves as a liaison among apprenticeship partners, faculty, academic departments, college administrators, and external institutions to support program alignment, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement efforts.
This position requires regular in-person collaboration with faculty, apprenticeship partners, and campus stakeholders and is temporary, contingent upon grant funding and program needs.
This position is currently funded through June 30, 2027. Continuance after this date is contingent on business need and funding.
