Moss is seeking an Apprenticeship Administrator to provide administrative and program support to the Apprenticeship Manager and the Moss Solar Apprenticeship Program. Moss' Apprenticeship Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and program support to the Apprenticeship Manager, and the Moss Solar Apprenticeship Program. This is a fast-paced, high‑visibility role requiring strong organization, initiative, attention to detail, and effective communication. The position collaborates closely with management, superintendents, apprenticeship coordinators, and apprentices to support day‑to‑day program operations, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure accurate tracking and reporting across key apprenticeship milestones. The role operates within a construction environment and is expected to become familiar with Moss processes, priorities, and field‑driven timelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize, multi‑task, and work independently. Professional written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with a focus on quality and compliance. Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Ability to take initiative without waiting for direction. Willingness and desire to learn. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, with the ability to effectively communicate with Spanish‑speaking apprentices and field teams. This includes translating program expectations, onboarding materials, compliance requirements, and providing ongoing support to ensure clear understanding of apprenticeship processes, training, and documentation.
Experience supporting teams in a construction environment (understanding field schedules, jobsite priorities, and urgency‑driven coordination). Experience with tracking and monitoring program participants, status changes, and maintaining accurate reports (HR, training, compliance, or workforce programs). Familiarity with apprenticeship programs, apprenticeship compliance, or related workforce development programs. Experience with RAPIDS / RAPIDS 2.0, RTI tracking, or similar systems (preferred, not required).
