Compensation:

• $15.00 / hour
• Begins at 6 months from hire date for bonus pay up to $3.50 / hour per flat rate hour.

• FULL TIME

The Apprentice Service Technician must be a graduate of an automotive technician training school. The apprentice is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned by the team leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The apprentice technician is assigned a mentor, usually a Master Technician, to assist in acclimating to dealership operations and sharing technical knowledge.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Consult with mentors, team leaders, or shop foremen when needed.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional service is recommended.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep up-to-date with factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain quality job performance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an automotive technical training program required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Perform duties safely.
• Pass background check, MVR, and drug test.
