Job Description

The Automotive Detailer cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes.
2. Apply wax to auto body, then wipe or buff to protect and shine the surface.
3. Vacuum interiors to remove dirt and debris.
4. Clean upholstery, rugs, and surfaces with appropriate cleaning agents.
5. Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior surfaces and treat fabrics to resist stains.
6. Steam-clean engine and engine compartments to remove grease and grime.
7. Use special cleaners for foreign materials, following manufacturer recommendations.
8. Paint engine components and related parts using spray guns or aerosol cans with masking materials.
9. Touch-up chipped body surfaces with paint.
10. Restore vinyl tops with dyes and reconditioning chemicals.
11. Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to perform duties safely
• Pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license
