Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a hands-on Technician in the Richardson, TX area to perform creative on-site repairs on a variety of surfaces. You’ll work with your hands, solve problems quickly, and deliver world-class customer service to tenants and property managers.

The role offers a pay range of $18–$25 per hour, a company car, paid time off, training, and opportunities for advancement; weekends and late shifts are not required, with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing hands-on repairs in construction, painting or related fields.
• Ability to distinguish and match colors accurately.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• In the field daily: complete 4+ on-site repairs.
• Provide world-class customer service to tenants and property managers.
• Update progress in CRM/Dispatch tool with notes.
• Communicate with support team and follow the 5-step repair process.
• Use each tool in your personal toolkit during repairs.
• Adapt to diverse settings (apartments, hotels, moving sites, construction sites).

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands - relevant experience could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby.
• Must be able to see, distinguish, and replicate colors. Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit.
• Problem-solve repairs with creativity in a variety of settings like apartments, hotels, moving sites, construction sites, etc.
