What You'll Do

• Learn the ins and outs of growing the business and controlling expenses by observing stylists and managers.
• Greet customers and answer the phone; your smile is your logo.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards in the salon.

Potential for promotion to a stylist position once licensed. Promotion is not automatic; you must earn it and apply for the stylist position with Cost Cutters.

Promotion Criteria

• Possess a valid license in your state.
• Perform duties permitted by your license, including cutting, styling, coloring, waxing, washing, and perming.
• Demonstrate Regis values: honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within 90 days of hire.
• Good judgment, time management, and communication skills.
• Tech-savvy for using POS systems and data entry.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 10 lbs regularly; occasionally lift 10-25 lbs.
• Stand for most of the day.
• Read, write, and perform basic math.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training, including overnight travel.
