Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking an Apprentice Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants in the Cleveland area. The role includes on-site training, a company vehicle, and ongoing career advancement.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and service gas, electric, and steam systems with a focus on mechanical and electrical skills, and you’ll participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification for refrigeration techs required.
• Background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations.
