Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities and restaurants across the area. The role offers up to a $6,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates and a pay range of $20-$45 per hour with growth opportunities.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain cooking, refrigeration and HVAC systems, handle gas, electric and steam service, order parts, and participate in after-hours/on-call

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related field service experience preferred.
• EPA certification for refrigeration techs desired.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after‑hours and weekend on‑call rotations.

What You’ll Do

What We Need

• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting our safety standards
• Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
• 2+ years of related experience, education or military training preferred
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• At least 18 years of age
