Job description

The Role

As a result of Inzpires continued success and business expansion, we are delighted to offer a development role for an Apprentice Receptionist. This is an incredible opportunity for an individual starting out in their career with an interest in business and keen to get stuck into a busy, varied role, working with Inzpires Office Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Providing and managing general office equipment, stationery, and supplies.
  • Providing administrative support including filing, emailing, reception and messenger duties, answering phone calls, data input onto computerised systems and reprographic work.
  • Ordering and managing (including supply, tracking and recovery) non-IT Company equipment issued to staff, such as employee clothing and business cards.
  • Monitoring Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and assisting employees with any necessary adjustments.
  • Maintaining records regarding company furniture, fixtures, and assets (excluding security and IT assets) within our Lincoln facilities.
  • Assisting with Induction days by greeting new starters on arrival and processing their documentation.
  • Organising and being the point of contact for caterers and third-party venues for meetings.
  • Acting as the Company representative for the administration of hire vehicles.
The Apprenticeship

To support your development into this role, you will undertake a fully funded Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship with our chosen private provider. You will be provided with every opportunity and support to successfully complete this apprenticeship during your first 18 months with us.

The Person

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and polite individual with a desire to develop excellent administrative, organisational and people skills. The successful individual will:

  • Have attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Be self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive.
  • Have a high level of organisational skills and be able to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Have some experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Be passionate about delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Be polite and professional in manner.
  • Be keen to develop and learn both within the role and as part of the apprenticeship.
  • Be keen to ask questions and make suggestions.

We understand you may not have all the required experience; a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn is just as important. You will be supported through the Level 3 Apprenticeship to achieve the required standards of English and Maths, if required.

Future Opportunities

This is a permanent role, so a full‑time position is available on successful completion of the Apprenticeship. Inzpire is proactive in developing all its people and future development opportunities will be available to the individual in this role to continually develop and progress in their career.

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.

Benefits
  • 30 days paid holiday plus 8 days bank holidays per year
  • Uncapped leave scheme (upon successful completion of probation period)
  • Company provided private medical and dental insurance
  • Company Share Incentive Scheme
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
  • Annual profit and performance related pay scheme
  • Generous death in service (£100k)
  • Company contributions into a group personal pension scheme
  • Business travel insurance
  • Funded role specific training and financial assistance with professional development
  • Tax efficient cycle to work and charitable giving schemes
  • Tax efficient electric vehicle company car scheme
