Job summary

Stone Security is seeking a skilled field installer in the Portland, OR area to handle the installation, programming, startup, certification, and customer training on assigned security projects.

You will perform wiring, hardware installation, and on-site terminations, while inspecting systems and replacing faulty components as needed. Travel to customer sites is required to ensure standards are met.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch).
• Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary
• Travel is required.

Job description

• Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects
• Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices
• Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required
• Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary
• Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards
• Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications
• Performs other related duties as required
• Travel is required.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
