Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an onsite technician with expertise in low voltage cabling and security system installations to lead field deployments across the Midwest. You will review quotes, inspect sites, and install devices per codes and plans, ensuring reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and training customers on system operations. Travel is required, with weekends for multiple sites, and a valid US driver’s license is

Qualifications

  • Hands-on field experience installing and maintaining low voltage cabling and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret installation drawings and work orders.
  • Strong knowledge of network basics and IP addressing in field environments.

Job description

Requirements

  • Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing
  • Ability to read architectural drawings
  • Team management/supervisor experience
  • Experience completing projects within scope
  • Experience with service ticketing processes
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have a valid US driver's license
