Job summary

M3T Corporation is seeking a Security Systems Integration Technician to join our Operations team. You will install, program, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection, using Lenel, Milestone, Axis, and DMP platforms.

The role requires collaborating with clients, contractors, and teammates in fast-paced environments, reading blueprints, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in electronic security or low-voltage industries.
  • Experience with Lenel, Milestone, Axis, and DMP platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of IP networking and network-based security systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control systems and related equipment.
  • Support locks, gates, and vehicle barriers and associated low-voltage cabling and network infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues in integrated security systems.
  • Configure and support IP-based security devices and assist with multi-platform integration.
  • Operate and fabricate mounting solutions, and maintain clean, organized job sites.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.

TITLE: Security Systems Integration Technician
DEPARTMENT: Operations
Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Integration Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated network-based solutions. Experience with Lenel, Milestone, Axis, and DMP platforms is strongly preferred.

This role requires a motivated professional who can work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments while delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer service.

Status: Non-Exempt
Qualifications
Required / Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the electronic security or low-voltage industry preferred
  • Experience with the following platforms is strongly preferred:
  • oLenel access control systems
  • oMilestone video management systems
  • oAxis Communications products
  • oDMP intrusion systems
  • Basic understanding of IP networking and network-based security systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office platforms
  • Experience in Q360 Professional Services Automation is a strong plus
Technical & Physical Requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical lifts at heights exceeding 60 feet
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and jobsite environments
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must have the ability to pass security background checks

Security System Installation & Service

Install, program, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain:

  • Access control systems
  • Locks, gates, and vehicle barriers
  • Associated low-voltage cabling and network infrastructure
Technical Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues related to integrated security systems
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer demonstrations
Networking & System Integration
  • Configure and support IP-based security devices and basic network infrastructure
  • Assist with integration of multiple security platforms and devices
Equipment Operation & Fabrication
  • Safely operate a variety of tools, testing equipment, lifts, and construction-related equipment
  • Fabricate and modify equipment or mounting solutions as required for installations
Quality Assurance & Customer Service
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and company vehicles
  • Perform installations and service work to company quality standards
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professionalism, communication, and attention to detail

This position regularly requires work in:

  • Existing occupied business environments Indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Elevated work areas and confined spaces
  • Frequent travel to customer sites is required.
