Job summary

Studs is hiring Apprentices to join a 6-week paid training program for piercing. Apprentices earn $19/hour during training, plus tips, then graduate to Associate Piercer at $24/hour plus tips, with opportunities to transition to Full-Time roles at our Domain Northside studio.

Applicants should have 3 years of relevant work experience, flexible availability up to 32+ hours weekly including weekends, and must complete training travel to a studio location.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Flexible schedule up to 5 days per week (32+ hours) including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Weekend availability (Fri, Sat, Sun) required
• Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day
• Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy for advanced piercings
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs
• Travel to one of our studio locations for training (paid by Studs)

Responsibilities

• Service-oriented: educate clients on the Studs experience during the selling cycle.
• Deliver confident, clear, professional communication with clients throughout the Studs experience.
• Maintain detailed record keeping of maintenance, sterilized inventory and tools.
• Adhere to piercing operating procedures and safety standards to ensure client experience.
