Job summary

LensCrafters is hiring an Apprentice Optician in Pineville, NC to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will greet customers, guide frame and lens selection, perform fittings (AccuFit) and help customers achieve clarity and style.

You will learn optical theory and merchandise, work with a team, and support rapid processing with One Hour service. This full-time role offers ongoing training, a robust rewards package, and opportunities within EssilorLuxottica's global eyewear leader.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Part of a sanctioned Apprentice Program.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain the process to ensure a smooth sale.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Perform fitting, adjustments and measurements with accuracy (AccuFit).
• Dispense eyewear and ensure it meets quality and customer requirements.
• Explain One Hour processing and delivery times to customers.
• Maintain store appearance and safety, and model LensCrafters service standards.
