Job summary

Southern Champion Tray is seeking an apprentice to safely set up and operate the folder/gluer machine, following the training plan to reach proficient levels. You'll work with a trainer to learn responsibilities and meet production and quality standards.

Day shift options at Amnicola Plant in Chattanooga, TN; responsibilities include learning safety procedures, quality checks, and proper operation of the equipment to minimize waste while maintaining output targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills required.
• Flexibility to move to off shifts after training.

Responsibilities

• Learn responsibilities to safely set up and operate the folder/gluer machine.
• Work with trainer to reach proficiency for critical tasks and meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and quality checks to ensure product quality and minimize waste.
• Log productivity and maintain production records in the manufacturing system.
• Assist with machine startup/shutdown and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain clean work environment per 5S and Food Safety standards.
