Job summary

Gold Fields in Agnew is offering a Boilermaker Apprenticeship with on-site paid training to become a qualified tradesperson. You will support the maintenance and performance of mining processing equipment and site infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience and formal training.

The program is based on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth, with opportunity to develop within a leading global gold producer that values safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Has a current manual driver’s licence.
• Good communication and basic computer literacy are desirable.
• Genuine interest in the Boilermaking trade.
• Certificate II in Pre-Apprenticeship is highly regarded.
• First Aid certificate is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Learn on the job and complete required training to become a qualified tradesperson.
• Assist in maintaining and improving mining equipment and site infrastructure.
• Keep work area clean, organised, and safe.
• Identify and report hazards or incidents.
• Support the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks.
• Help reduce downtime to keep the site running smoothly.

We currently have an opportunity available at Agnew offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth.
