Job summary

Thiess is seeking experienced Labourer/Small plant operators to join the Non-Process Infrastructure team across major sites in the Southwest, Pilbara and Goldfields of Western Australia. Be part of a safety‑driven, high‑performing site that values reliability and career development.

You will work in a small team, operate Bobcat skid steer and Mini Excavator, install and dismantle dome structures and modular buildings, and support various small civil projects with a proactive, safety-focused

Qualifications

• Civil experience on Bobcat skid steer and Mini Excavator; tickets advantageous
• HR licence advantageous
• Elevated work platform and Working at Heights tickets advantageous
• Rigging ticket advantageous
• Good knowledge of small civil works and construction practices

Responsibilities

• Assist across stores and undertake small civil projects
• Install and dismantle dome structures and transportable modular buildings
• Maintain an organised and safe stores environment
• Contribute to a multi-site team across WA locations

Thiess are seeking experienced Labourer/Small plant operators to join the Non-Process Infrastructure team working across all of our key sites in the Southwest, Pilbara and Goldfields! To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Civil Experience on Bobcat skid steer & Mini Excavator (Padfoot / Flat Drum roller and IT Wheel Loader tickets advantageous), or
• The ability to work as part of a small team and multitask on a variety of small projects
• Civil Experience on Bobcat skid steer & Mini Excavator (Padfoot / Flat Drum roller and IT Wheel Loader tickets advantageous)
• Current HR licence advantageous
• Elevated work platform & Working at Heights tickets and experience
• Basic Rigging ticket very advantageous
• Good all-round knowledge of small civil works and construction practises
• Installation & dismantling of dome structures and transportable modular buildings
• A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
• Sound knowledge of safe mine site work practices – writing JHAs – Identifying and controlling hazards
• Good communication skills and easy going nature
