Essential Job Functions (Under Supervision of a Senior Maintenance Technician):

• Arrive on time in a clean uniform with all required PPE.
• Adhere to all safety standards.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of processing, packaging, and utility equipment, including mixers, dough processors, ovens, slicers, and packagers.
• Monitor and ensure equipment is in excellent condition for operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Use MaintainX to generate work requests, work orders, and complete activities.
• Follow GMP, safety, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Repair and maintain bakery machinery and equipment such as ovens, conveyors, and slicing/packaging machines.
• Examine machines to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantle machines using hand tools.
• Replace defective parts, adjust gears, and repair belts, conveyor sections, and feeding devices.
• Cut and install pipe and tubing for various lines.
• Sharpen and install cutting blades.
• Assemble machines and start them, monitoring gauges and instruments.
• Clean and lubricate equipment.
