Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to perform civil and electrical duties at project sites across the region. The role requires operating heavy equipment, installing overhead and underground services, and upholding strict safety and quality standards.

Applicants should have completed an accredited apprenticeship and a high school diploma, with willingness to travel up to 100%. OSHA knowledge and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program required.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years underground and substation experience preferred.
• Domestic travel 76-100% required.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA guidelines.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of distribution and transmission lines.
• Knowledge in framing.
• Experienced sticking and gloving.
• Interest in a program of self-development.
• Willing to accept increased responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform Civil/Electrical duties at the project site.
• Operate bucket truck, digger derrick, backhoe, production digger, tensioner, and rope puller.
• Assist in construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades.
• Lead with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
