RES is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to perform civil and electrical tasks at project sites with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. You will learn on-the-job while adhering to procedures and contributing to a culture of care and high-quality workmanship.

The role involves climbing poles, operating equipment, assisting in overhead/underground service construction, and traveling domestically up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited apprenticeship program completed.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years underground and substation experience preferred.
• Willing to travel domestically 76-100%.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of distribution and transmission lines.
• Knowledge in framing.
• Experienced sticking and gloving.
• Interest in a program of self-development.
• Willing to accept increased responsibilities.
• Attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability and ethics.

Responsibilities

• The Craft – Apprentice Lineman is responsible for safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site.
• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
