Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to perform Civil and Electrical duties at project sites, upholding safety and quality standards.

The role involves climbing poles, operating equipment, and assisting with overhead/underground service work. Travel domestically up to 100% is required as projects may vary by location, with on-site responsibilities and a strong emphasis on safety and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program required.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years underground and substation experience preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically 76-100% required.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA guidelines.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of distribution and transmission lines.
• Knowledge in framing.
• Experienced sticking and gloving.
• Interest in a program of self-development.
• Willing to accept increased responsibilities.
• Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perfom Civil/Electrical duties at the project site safely and efficiently.
• Assist in constructing overhead and underground services and service upgrades.
• Operate bucket truck, digger derrick, back-hoe, and related equipment.
• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
