Chain Electric Co Inc is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Lineman to safely perform skilled electrical work across distribution systems, both underground and overhead. The role emphasizes learning apprenticeship skills and progressing toward journeyman status under supervision.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate safety awareness, physical fitness, and a willingness to learn, with CDL-B licensing and own tools highly valued. Regular travel and irregular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; lineman training preferred.
• Must possess CDL-B license; own tools highly desired.
• Ability to read instructions, perform construction tasks, and maintain safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Safely construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution systems and substations.
• Verify grounding of equipment and control traffic near work zones.
• Dig holes and lay/ splice cables and conductors as part of installation and repair work.
• Drive tools and materials to job sites and supervise ground personnel when needed.
