Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc., doing business as IES Electrical, seeks a dedicated Apprentice Lineman for work across Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa regions. The role offers hands-on training in power line construction, with safety as priority and travel required as part of the job.

You will assist in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of transmission and distribution lines, including pole work and operating heavy equipment under supervision.

Qualifications

• Six months' recent experience or education with power line construction, transmission/distribution.
• Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read construction documents.
• Successfully pass DOT physicals/drug tests as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) DOT drug test and MVR check.

Responsibilities
