Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our on-site maintenance team at Corteva location. You will perform electrical repairs, inspections, and PLC-related maintenance to support production uptime.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, safety program adherence, and keeping detailed equipment records. Candidates must have a Journeyman license, a high school diploma, and strong computer skills; willingness to work overtime and shifts during peak periods is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrical License.
• Experience with PLC and electrical maintenance in industrial settings.
• Ability to maintain detailed equipment records.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and inspections.
• Operate and maintain facility equipment following guidelines and procedures.
• Review safety programs and ensure OSHA/PSM compliance.
• Maintain records and prints for equipment.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays during peak production.

A Journeyman Electrical LicenseYou are comfortable with technology and possess good a computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as requiredClimb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs. You are willing and able to maintain detailed equipment records and prints as requiredYou will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every dayYou value serving our customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime. You are willing and able to work overtime and shift hours, which include weekend and holidays during seasonal peaks to support production demand

Experience with a work order and part inventory systemKnowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience).Experience with an E-Maintenance (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory
