Job summary

FSS Technologies is a fire protection and security company seeking an Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Inspector in Minnesota. This entry-level, field-based role offers on-the-job training under a qualified inspector to inspect, test, and maintain water-based systems in commercial and multifamily buildings.

You will gain experience with NFPA 25, perform tests, record results, and progress toward NICET certification while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn and obtain NICET certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspecting and testing water-based sprinkler systems as part of a team.
• Follow NFPA 25 and AHJ requirements during inspections and testing.
• Record inspection results accurately and completely; photograph deficiencies as needed.
• Communicate with customers and site staff in a respectful, professional manner.
• Attend on-the-job and classroom training under supervision to develop skills.
