Job summary

Ladder is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects in Texas. You will work under Journeymen and Foremen, gaining hands-on experience and working toward licensure while emphasizing safety and quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes learning NEC standards, blueprint reading, tool handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment. OSHA-10 preferred and tools provided by the company.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in IEC Apprenticeship program after probation.
• Previous commercial/industrial electrical experience preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 preferred or ability to obtain after hire.
• Must possess basic hand tools; power tools provided by company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of conduit, wiring, lighting, and electrical equipment under supervision.
• Learn NEC requirements and company standards through on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
• Load, unload, organize, and transport tools and materials to support daily activities.
• Assist in reading commercial blueprints and wiring diagrams to understand layouts.
• Support Journeymen and Foremen in identifying and repairing electrical issues.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies; participate in toolbox talks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect installed equipment.
• Collaborate with Journeymen, Foremen, Project Managers, and apprentices.
