Job summary

Loenbro in Austin, TX is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to assist journeyman electricians in installing, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing industrial and commercial electrical equipment and systems.

The role involves following Journeyman guidance to complete electrical maintenance and repair work, with emphasis on safety, learning, and practical skill development within a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Have between 2-4 years (4000-7500 OJT hours) of electrical work experience.
• Strong understanding of the importance of quality work.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others to promote efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observe, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes under the instruction of a skilled electrician.
• Demonstrate these skills and processes as on-the-job training progresses by working independently or with others to complete assigned tasks.
• Learn and understand the importance of safety within the workspace and across projects.
• Learn about the various tools and materials required for electricians to complete tasks and projects.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the work area.
• Properly utilize the required tools and equipment for each specific task.
