Job Description

This role focuses on installing and servicing low voltage systems, with an emphasis on access control and temperature control wiring in commercial projects. The technician ensures reliable electrical and data connections through professional installation of CAT cables and structured cabling to support building systems and infrastructure. MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS OF ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities
  • Install and configure low voltage systems for access control and temperature control in commercial environments.
  • Perform cabling installation for CAT5 and other CAT cables, ensuring neat, secure, and code-compliant routing.
  • Implement structured cabling solutions to support electrical, data, and control systems across commercial projects.
  • Read and follow project plans, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications to complete work accurately.
  • Terminate, label, and test low voltage cabling to verify proper performance and connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage wiring and connections to maintain system reliability.
  • Collaborate with other trades and project team members to coordinate installation activities on-site.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices during all installations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
