Job summary

ISC Constructors is seeking positive, energetic Experienced Electrical Apprentices to support our skilled team. The role involves assisting in installing conduit (rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, PVC), learning conduit bending, and fabricating supports. You will help install cable trays, wire, and tubing, while upholding safety standards and housekeeping.

• Must have a valid TDLR Electrical Apprentice License.
• Minimum of 1 year electrical apprentice experience.
• Ability to pass post-offer, pre-employment DISA drug/alcohol test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in installing rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, and PVC conduit.
• Learn and use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders.
• Fabricate and install conduit supports.
• Assist in installing cable tray and tube tray.
• Install wire and cable by hand and by machine in conduit and cable tray.
• Assist in installing air pipe and instrument tubing with a variety of hand tools.

The Position:

We are looking for positive, energetic Experienced Electrical Apprentices with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Must be able to assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in the installation of rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, and PVC conduit
• Must be able to use or willing to learn to use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders
• Able to fabricate and install conduit supports
• Able to assist in the installation of cable tray and tube tray
• Able to install wire and cable by hand and by machine in cable tray and in conduit
• Able to assist in the installation of air pipe and instrument tubing; to utilize a variety of electric and hydraulic hand tools and pneumatic tools
• Have knowledge of applicable safety rules
• Must be able to follow specific directions and work within the standards of accuracy
• Must be capable of maintaining proper housekeeping, and able to carry out work requirements of demolition, handling trash, and assisting in maintenance and construction
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
