Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. seeks Experienced Electrical Apprentices to join our team. You will assist journeymen in wiring and installing conduit, cable trays and instrument piping, while learning bending and installation skills on a variety of tools.

The role requires a valid TDLR Electrical Apprentice License and at least 1 year of apprenticeship experience. We offer excellent wages, a complete benefits package, and opportunities for growth. Located in Texas with national presence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid TDLR Electrical Apprentice License
• Minimum of 1 year electrical apprentice experience
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment DISA drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in installing rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, and PVC conduit.
• Learn and use conduit bending tools (mechanical, electric, hydraulic).
• Fabricate and install conduit supports and install cable tray and tube tray.
• Install wire and cable by hand and by machine in cable tray and conduit.
• Assist in installing air pipe and instrument tubing using various hand, hydraulic, pneumatic tools.
• Follow safety rules and maintain workspace and housekeeping.

The Position

We are looking for positive, energetic Experienced Electrical Apprentices with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Must be able to assist Journeyman and Craftsmen in the installation of rigid, aluminum, plasti-bond, and PVC conduit
• Must be able to use or willing to learn to use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders
• Able to fabricate and install conduit supports
• Able to assist in the installation of cable tray and tube tray
• Able to install wire and cable by hand and by machine in cable tray and in conduit
• Able to assist in the installation of air pipe and instrument tubing; to utilize a variety of electric and hydraulic hand tools and pneumatic tools
• Have knowledge of applicable safety rules
• Must be able to follow specific directions and work within the standards of accuracy
• Must be able capable of maintaining proper housekeeping, and able to carry out work requirements of demolition, handling trash, and assisting in maintenance and construction
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
