Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking an Apprentice Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants. We provide hands-on training and a company vehicle dispatched from home, with opportunities for advancement and strong benefits.

Applicants should have 2+ years related experience, EPA refrigeration certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Must lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting safety standards.
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts; participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
