Job summary

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Technician to support the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, and warewashing equipment at customer locations in South San Francisco, CA.

The role includes after-hours on-call rotation and a focus on customer service excellence. Ideal candidates will have experience in cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC service, an EPA Universal license, and strong electrical, electronic, and

Qualifications

Experience in cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC service.
EPA Universal license is required.
Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Cooking, Refrigeration, HVAC and Warewashing Equipment.
Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism.
Provide excellent customer service by meeting customer expectations on every service call.
Complete service calls in a timely manner.
Assist in growing the customer base by offering solutions and promoting programs.
Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales.
Participate in rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule.
Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
Maintain service vehicle; order parts and complete paperwork.
Attend training sessions.
