Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Cooking, Refrigeration, HVAC and Warewashing Equipment.
• Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism.
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting customer expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Assist in growing the customer base by offering solutions and promoting programs.
• Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales.
• Participate in rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain service vehicle; order parts and complete paperwork.
• Attend training sessions.

Commercial HVAC Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Apprentice Technician

Hourly rates from: $20-25/hour

Overview

Commercial Appliance is hiring Commercial HVAC Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Techniciansresponsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking & refrigeration equipment at our customer locations. Our Technicians also Provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish cleaning equipment, walk-ins, and ice machines.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Cooking, Refrigeration, HVAC and Warewashing Equipment
• Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting customer expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner
• Increasing our customer base by providing solutions for equipment problems and promoting company programs
• Communicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and sales
• Participate in a rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule
• Identify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintain service vehicle
• Order parts and complete required paperwork
• Attend training sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experiencecooking,refrigeration, or HVACequipment service (or related military) experience
• EPA Universal license
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Extremely strong customer communication skills
• 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
• Maintain a good personal appearance
• Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
• Maintain a Valid Driver License with a good driving record
