Job summary

Pinewood Tool Corp is a precision toolroom offering an apprentice CNC Toolmaker program in Wisconsin. You’ll start earning $20/hour with hands-on training, tuition support, and a tool-signing bonus as you learn the craft alongside experienced toolmakers.

No prior experience required; you’ll progress from setup and reading prints to programming and machining under a mentor, with flexible hours and a defined growth path to CNC Toolmaker.

• Enrolled in a technical college machine tool, CNC or manufacturing program, or a recent grad.
• No experience needed; curiosity and drive.
• Detail-oriented, dependable and team-minded.
• Proud of work done right.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC mills, lathes and grinders alongside a mentor.
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T.
• Program in Mastercam and at the machine control.
• Machine precision parts and tooling to tight tolerances.
• Measure and inspect your work with precision instruments.
• Grow from running parts to owning a job from print to finished part.

Our shop

Precision CNC milling, turning, grinding, and EDM, programmed in Mastercam and at the control. Since 1974, we’ve made everything from mold inserts and die components to fixtures and precision assemblies. We run on a modern ERP and put AI to work across the business.
