Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring an Apprentice Bartender at New York-New York in Las Vegas. You will assist the bartender, maintain bar cleanliness, stock and label items, and help deliver memorable guest experiences in a casino/resort setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as an apprentice bartender in a Casino/Resort setting preferred.
• Money handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes and garnishes.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area.
• Ensure proper setup, labeling, stocking and delivery of supplies, glassware and garnishes.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Provide welcoming, high-quality service to guests and resolve issues within scope.
