Job summary

GTG Training are recruiting for an Apprentice Autocare Technician based in Hereford. You will work full-time in a garage workshop, earning while you learn and progressing towards IMI automotive qualifications through GTG’s Modern Apprenticeship Programmes.

Apprentices will attend block release training weeks at GTG Wolverhampton, with regular assessments to ensure you gain the needed skills to complete the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject or equivalent.
• Keen to learn and start a career in automotive industry.
• Full UK driving licence is not essential but preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will learn all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance in a garage workshop, including servicing, MOT prep, removal and overhaul of major components, and diagnostic work.
• Regular training blocks at GTG Wolverhampton to achieve Level 2 Autocare Technician or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician.
• Attend training centre weeks and be mentored in the workplace to develop required skills for successful apprenticeship.
